The temples, stupas, palaces and monasteries in Katmandu valley have superb arts and architecture and within its small area does UNESCO recognize seven World Heritage Sites. A short trek to Poon Hill of Annapurna Sanctuary area will amaze you with close view of sparking Annapurna massif, fishtail, Hiunchuli etc and also you will get to witness the culture and lifestyle of Gurung and Magar, ethnic groups of western mountainous region of Nepal. Safari activities in Chitwan National Park are very exciting. You will encounter with the Great One Horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Sloth Beer, Deer, reptiles and more then 460 different species of birds of the park.

ITINERARY

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transferred to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Intensive sightseeing program in Kathmandu valley for about 6-7 hours. The Kathmandu valley contains three colorful cities, till 17th century, they existed as separate Kingdoms. Each of the cities has its beautiful Palace square in the center of old part of city. On this day we will see Kathmandu and Patan, two of the three cities. The art and architecture, in the form of temples and stupas demonstrate a unique synthesis of Buddhism and Hinduism. On this day, we will be able to cover up Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Patan Durbar Square.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara. Afternoon boating in Phewa Lake and local sightseeing tours.Birethanti, after an hour drive.

Day 04: Pokhara- Ulleri:Trek commences from Birethanti.Walk follows the bank ofrivers and rivulets andsame time we will be enjoying the view of the mountains. After 4-5 hours walk we reach at Ulleri (1800m). Overnight in lodge or tent.

Day 05: Ulleri - Ghorepani: After 3-4 hours walk we reach at Ghorepani (2860m).Just about half hours climb, there is a hill famous by the name of Pun Hill from where you can enjoy special view of about 13 snow capped mountains including Dhaualagiri (8167m) and Annapurna massif. Here, you will feel like you have been embraced by the Himalayas. Overnight in lodge or tent in Ghorepani

Day 06: Ghorepani-Ghandruk: we walk through the forest of rhododendron trees down to Tadapani and reach a nice Gurung village of Ghandruk (2000m). From here you can see Machapuchare,Hiunchuli and Annapurna south. Overnight in lodge or tent in Ghandruk.

Day 07: Ghandruk-Pokhara: we walk about 5hours downhill then reach Birethanti, from there we drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.

Day 08: Pokhara-Chitwan:
We drive about 5 hours to Chitwan national Park.you will be metand greeted upon arrival in Chitrasari by the representative of our resort. Transfer to Resort. Refreshment drinks and briefing about the programs. Rooms assigned. After lunch, you will visit Tharu village and National Park's visitors' center. Sun set view from the riverbank. Dinner with Tharu dancing programs or slides-show on wildlife. Overnight in bungalow.

Day 09: Chitwan:
AM breakfast. Dugout canoe trip followed by a Nature Walk program or visit to the Elephant Breeding Farm. Take an ox-cart ride or jeep drive back to Resort.
PM; Lunch, Elephant Back Safari programs. Dinner. Overnight in bungalow.

Day10: Chitwan-Kathmandu: Go for a morning walk cum birdwatching tour or dug out cane ride. After four hours drive along the bank of Narayani and Trishuli, we reach Kathmandu. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.

Day11: Transfer to airport for departure.
