Upon arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, you will get a multiple entry visa. Attach two passport size photographs on the application form. You will be met by our representative outside the airport building (arrival gate) and he will drive you to your hotel (5 miles, 30 minutes). Check in hotel and after some rest, take a guided tour of 2000 years old, legendary Swayambhunath Stupa, also nick named as Monkey Temple because of a remarkable monkey population in and around the shrine. The stupa is linked with the history of evolution of Kathamandu Valley and equally venerable to the Hindus as well as Buddhists of Nepal. Swaymbhunath, situated atop a hillock of 260 ft from the average level of Kathmandu, is a good vantage point to the valley-panorama and to the Himalayan peaks such as Langtang, Lakpa Dorje, and Gauri Shanker. From here, drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, the old capital of Nepal where you can see the old Royal Palace complex with ancient original to the medieval and modern expansion, each rich in arts and architecture. In the vicinity are a cluster of ancient and medieval temples, each contending the others with the finest wood works on their struts, lintels and plinths? Among others, the legendary Kasthamandap Temple, fabled as made up a mystic single tree trunk, Shiva Temple-also nick-named as Hippy Temple and Kumari-House of the Living Goddess of Nepal are not to be missed.

From here, walk along the street passing through Indrachowk and Asan markets, the heart of ancient and medieval Kathmandu, which are so vibrant with the activities of vendors and buyers. In the evening, you are invited by our representative for a Welcome Dinner which is organized in a typical Nepali restaurant where you will also observe folk dances of Nepal performed by young men and women in different ethnic costumes. Day 02:: Full day tour of Kathmandu Valley and Nagarkot excursion
Our Guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel (after breakfast) to take you for the tour of Nagarkot and Kathmandu Valley. Nagarkot lies 20 miles north east of Kathmandu and is in the elevation of around 6,500 ft. The journey goes via Bhaktapur, passing through the farmlands and along the road carved out of the hills that winds and switch back uphill. You will see the terraced farmlands, villages and a real country life despite being so close from the city. On a clear weather day, Nagarkot has the finest views of the Himalayas and Panorama. After taking light walk around, return to Bhaktapur -the best preserved medieval Malla Principality. Bhaktapur served as the capital of United Kathmandu until it split in to three principalities (Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur) in the mid 14th century. You can still visit the ancient palace, now turned to a arts museum, and its medieval addition called the Palace of 55 Windows, Golgen Gate, Royal Bath and other attractions such as 5 storied Nyatapola Temple, Duttratraya Temple, Pujari Math complex with Peacock-Window.

Then, visit Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of sacred Bagmati River which is one of the tributaries of holy Ganges. Entrance to the temple is limited to the Hindus only but you don't have to be disappointed as you will have a close-up from other side of the river. You can also have chance to see the Hindu cremation services on ghats of the Bagmati River. From here continue to Boudhanath Stupa, the biggest Buddhist stupa architecture in the world! The stupa is believed to be one of the must visit site for all Buddhists in their life time.
