Overview

The River
A wilderness experience ideal for those seeking an introduction to rafting or kayaking. The Seti is one of Nepal's most beautiful and warmest (!) rivers with spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and rapids increasing in excitement as your confidence grows. The Chitwan National Park safari is only one and half hours drive from the "take-out" point.

Transportation to the river
Damauli is on Kathmandu-Pokhara highway and accessible from Kathmandu in 4 hours. If you are in Pokhara, you will drive only 2 hours to reach Damauli.

Breakdown

Day 01: Drive to Damauli, and short rafting trip/ Camping at Corridor jungle riverbank
Day 02: Corridor jungle riverbank to Gaighat; rafting till 3PM (approx.) and drive back to Kathmandu or visit Chitwan National Park or drive to Pokhara.
